Did you know?
China Tax

Foreign currency remitted into China, under capital account items, cannot be converted into RMB without proper reasons. If the cumulative amount of conversion exceeds USD200,000, a detailed list of the usage of the converted RMB is required. On the other hand, according to current rules, any trade items’ foreign currency receipts must be put into a special account. These and other issues are covered in CCH’s China Master Tax Guide 2008/09 Edition. For more information, please contact your local CCH office.
